Herry Wirawan was sentenced to life in prison by the Bandung District Court, Tuesday (15/2). He was found guilty of raping dozens of his students. The sentencing hearing was carried out openly, in contrast to the trial with the agenda of indictments and pleidoi which were held behind closed doors.

“Before having intercourse, the defendant first told about the family problems of the defendant and his wife and the reasons for having a husband and wife relationship with the defendant’s wife,” said the judge at the Bandung District Court, Tuesday (15/2).
“Furthermore, the defendant whispered unclear words that the victim’s child heard and the defendant had sexual intercourse with the victim’s child,” he continued.
These words, said Hakim, had made his students believe in Herry’s lecherous actions.
The judge also revealed that Herry’s lecherous actions against 13 students were carried out in a number of locations. Starting from the foundation to the hotel.
“It was carried out at the foundation in Central Antapani, Bandung, at the mardani foundation, the Cibiru Subdistrict Wildlife Foundation, Manarul Huda Islamic Boarding School Cibiru, TSM Apartments, Hotel A, BNJ Hotel Bandung City, Hotel R Bandung City, and Tahfiz Al-Ikhlas House Bandung,” said judge.
The judge also revealed that one of Herry’s victims was even raped several times until she gave birth. It is known, there are 8 students of Herry who are pregnant and give birth to 9 children. There are students who are pregnant up to two times.
